Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to promote and sell Runofeeds products to poultry farmers, livestock producers, distributors, agro-dealers, and commercial farm operators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and market Runofeeds products to new and existing customers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, distributors, agro-dealers, and commercial livestock operators.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular customer visits and provide product education and support.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance updates.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and product demonstrations.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain accurate customer records.
- Represent the company at agricultural exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in animal feed, agriculture, FMCG, or agribusiness sectors.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Good understanding of poultry and livestock farming practices is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
